World Water Day
Today is World Water Day. Celebrate the clean water from your tap, the rain and snow we have had today, and all the other water in our lives. Too often, I think we take clean water for granted, especially clean water that pours out of faucets in our homes at a touch. What a miracle that would be to so many people in the world today, and throughout history. And when we assume that the water is just there, and always will be, we may use too much of it. Even when water is unmetered, and costs only a flat fee, like Idaho Falls municipal, residential water, there is still only a finite amount of it. Every time water comes out of your faucet, it comes from a finite source. Remember that, and celebrate it all the more.
