Saving Canada's Old Growth Forest

There is still old growth forest on the North American continent. I didn't know that until I read this article, entitled Paper Chase, in Audubon magazine in January. I thought it had all been logged long ago. But some is still there. It's called the boreal forest, in Canada. The southern boreal forest is currently being logged, and is in great danger. The northern boreal forest is in the process of having protections put on it by the Canadian government. You can help save this old growth forest, because this precious, ancient wood is not going to build great buildings, or even houses, for the most part, it is being used to create paper.
