We each have a carbon dioxide footprint -- the amount of carbon dioxide we and our households emit in the course of each day. This carbon dioxide is contributing to global warming. The levels of carbon dioxide emitted by humans must be drastically reduced, and soon, or global temperatures will soar to dangerous levels.
I'm sure you know all that, and are thinking, well, what can I do about it? But you can do something. You can strive to reduce your personal carbon dioxide footprint, and that of your household.
We have just started a carbon dioxide footprint reduction club to help people reduce their footprint with the help of others who are trying the same thing. If you're not a part of it, and would like to follow along on your own, read this article: http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/print/2009/03/energy-conservation/miller-text and visit this website: http://www.carbonfootprint.com/calculator.aspx. Ignore 'Offset Now' buttons, just calculate your carbon footprint.
