Project BudBurst
In a changing world, it is extremely important for scientists to know when plants are flowering, leafing out, setting seed, etc. There's a new project enlisting the help of interested individuals across the nation in recording the dates of important events in plants as they occur with the seasons. It's Project BudBurst, and all you have to do is pick a species, figure out your location by latitude and longitude, and fill out the form provided when you register. From the project:
