Cap and Trade: The Benefits
A cap-and-trade system for carbon dioxide is being mooted in Congress and the White House. We all know that the environment will benefit from such a system, supposing it is implemented in such a way that carbon dioxide emissions actually decrease. But what about the human costs? Will poor people in this country benefit? What about the poor in developing countries? Read more here: http://www.uusc.org/blog/entry/1913/climate_change_rules_fairness. It's extremely complicated, with many sides to the issue, but I want to start a discussion.
